My concern is about smooth coating the exterior wall. I am always against this plan. Now knowing that it is only for the wall along Washington, I am against it even more! In this plan, it will not increase the values of our homes. I never liked how the entrances to the community were done. Smooth coating does not go with the look of the community.
Our main concerns should what should be maintained properly such as the gate entrances, security systems and landscaping. Keeping these up should not always looking for cheapest vendors to save money and then at the same time board wants to smooth coating does half of the wall perimeter and spent upwards of $100,000.00 not including the upkeep of the smooth coating! Please maintain your homes ands keep the streets clean!
Also, I heard at the last meeting in April 2026 mention again about a playground for the kids to play on. This is not a good idea it would ruin the look of the park plus open to lawsuits if someone gets injured.
Dear Parc La Quinta Homeowners,
At last night’s HOA meeting, we heard from Homeowners about more issues and the continuing frustration we are all experiencing.
We also heard from Board President, Ana Esquivel, about the Board’s ideas for improving “communication” in the community.
However, instead of changing their minds about conducting a Town Hall meeting, or extending the time we have to speak another 2 minutes and/or providing an additional forum for civil discourse, or meeting with Homeowners, F-2-F to hear legitimate grievances and concerns, they opted instead to create two committees. These committees are to; 1) hold an annual party or gathering in the park and 2) to provide a “welcome wagon” for new homeowners.
This is their plan for improving communication within the development?
While both activities are beneficial, they will do little to involve the board directly with the important issues and matters at hand. To many of us, this seems like ‘confusing activity with accomplishment’.
We urge all PLQ Homeowners to visit our website to express themselves, to continue to get involved & contribute to the betterment of the PLQ community.
